Seeing the life differently!

About

Happinessecrets is a blog about “seeing the life differently” , knowing yourself and others, getting out the comfort zone and expanding your boundaries.

My passion is reading, trying to know more about everything. I like to read psychology books, also self development, NLP, time management, religion, medicine and phytotherapy ; everything that has to do something with the human beings. But my big passion is to find out what is the soul, wich is the difference between the mind and soul and what we can do to make the body, the mind and the soul to work perfectly together; I realized that if one of the three parts is not working  at least close to normal, we cannot work properly, as a whole, and then we become sad or unhappy.

I started this journey a few years ago, when I discovered that if you don’t know yourself, you can’t know and understand other people. If you don’t reflect about yourself and if you don’t study your weaknesses, you can’t get closer to other people. Of course, in order to see the strength in other people you need to reflect about your own strength. You can’t get to love others, the real meaning of love, if you don’t love and respect yourself. A couple of weeks ago I decided that is time to share all this information with you, here, now, on this blog.

This blog is for people who want to see the life differently, is for people who believe that life is more than watching tv, shopping, news, politics and latest fashion. This blog is also for people who refuse  to be victims of the society and media; is for people who are willing to fight with themselves for a change in their life and people who know that the only responsible for your failure is you. No matter how hard is the life we need to find the power to see at least a little gleam of hope!

Let’s start a happy journey together!

  9. A quote that comes to mind: To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.
Though this isn’t strictly on point, it nevertheless speaks to knowing oneself…..

I am impressed with your writing…and the passages quoted….I appreciate your sense that people need to see all the different perspectives on whatever view we take on life, on daily living, on relationships. That is one way, I think, that harmony and balance can also be brought to one’s life..Hope to continue this conversation with you…Rudy

  13. I see that your “About” page also describes your thirst for knowledge. With the purpose of pursuing Truth, knowledge gains purpose. I have found that Truth begins with considering all perspectives and ideas, but that upon analysis Truth is discriminatory. It forces us to push the Lies from our lives, so that in the end of all the syllogisms and studies of ancient thought systems, we are left with only the Truth.

    • The truth lies within ourselves, in our conscience, and sometimes we need courage to accept it.
Thank you for your comment and for visiting my blog!
I wish you success on this path of pursuing the Truth!

    • Thank you too for stopping by!
I love your blog, it really makes you see the things differently which is my purpose in life.
As you can see we have a lot in common.
      Dear Tahir!
Your questions are a bit tricky 🙂
I am still searching for the answers, I’m gonna give you a short opinion about this.
From my point of view and from everything I’ve read, I tend to believe that the soul rules everything and defines us as human beings. The soul has the quality of making us alive and is drived by conscience, a gift from God. Of course sometimes can happen that you are alive, but you still feel like a dead person because you work against your conscience.
The mind is a part of the soul, let’s say a tool, but not the same thing. All I can say is that if sometimes you manage to shut down your mind (thoughts), at least for a while, you can see the World differently, as it is, and not as a result of our experiences in the past.
A definition of the mind you could find in all the psychology books and about the soul usually I search for answers in the religion books, especially the lives of the Saints and other great people who had the luck to see and understand more than we can.
Sometimes there are things in life which you can’t explain logically, you must have a bit of faith. 🙂

      • I really impressed to read your deep thoughts regarding soul and mind…!
It’s pleasure that we have a lot of common things..you also want to see the world as you want or differentially..!
And my dear you are searching the mistory of soul that is the base of all every alive things…!
Our soul has conscious and sub conscious both perform differently…!
But dear Anna, how much study you have done for this purpose…mean how many religion’s book you try to study..??
Have you any other panel to discuss with you???

I am very into personal development, religion, and majored in Philosophy and I quite enjoy what you are doing on this blog! I amateurishly dabble in poetry and quite enjoy when others express themselves through this medium. I’m going to check out the rest of your stuff now 🙂

  32. H!, There is a lot of mind games going on between you and your blog partners–or what ever–even at the Age of 87, I can only think simple and use common sense . And I totally agree with you–to understand life and the beauty that surrounds us–You need to understand your self and God. A lot of people–they think they understand God– you need to know him–much more than about him.
Point of information–I met my wife–a blind date–knowing her for only 6 hours–both of us together over a week end–two hours on Saturday night and 4 hours on Sunday–church and diner at her parents house– Sunday at 3:14 in the afternoon–I told her I loved her with out even one kiss–she did not hesitate “Yes” and then we had our first Kiss and we we’re married for 59 y4ears.
I wrote and had a book published “A Spiritual Love Story” from the day we we’re born–to the last Kiss–the day before the Angels of escort chauffeured her to the Kingdom of Grace. We both understood our self–compassion, understanding, trust, honesty, respect, passion, space, and a Kiss every night before we went to sleep–Her and I could only remember once–that we missed–new years morning–four in the morning–I came home–tipsy–drunk–and up chucked when I came into a warm house.
You are a very interesting young lady–with a purpose in life.
